The controversy ruined the reputation of the game and even with some outstanding post-launch assistance, it's considered to be a huge fail.

It's not an isolated instance that FC 24 Coins has faced legal issues relating to their loot boxes. In the last month, a court in the Netherlands discovered that the loot boxes is a form gambling that was unlawful within the nation. The decision stated that EA could be penalized EUR500.000 for every week the banned loot box continued to be in play. This isn't the first occasion that EA has found itself in hot water regarding loot boxes.

There aren't many players around these days who don't recall the famous Star Wars: Battlefront 2 failure. EA was awash with microtransactions in the game to the point that those who didn't invest in them were placed at an unfair disadvantage to those who already had. The controversy ruined the reputation of the game and even with some outstanding post-launch assistance, it's considered to be a huge fail.

The company EA is facing more controversy with regard to the loot box it sells. GamesIndustry.biz has more details on this latest lawsuit which was that was brought in the US District Court of Northern California. EA is charged with using the patent-pending "Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment" technology to increase difficulty in games. The technology is designed to adjust to the player's level of skill which makes the game easier when the player is struggling, or more difficult if it appears that the player doesn't face any difficulty.

The plaintiffs Jason Zajonc, Danyael Williams and Pranko Lozano contend that EA uses this method to boost the difficulty of their players and convince them that their virtual players aren't proficient enough, thereby causing them to purchase Player Pack loot boxes and obtain more powerful players.Madden NFL, FIFA, and NHL are all part of the lawsuit. It's not difficult to see that these games suffer from significant problems. Madden along with NHL have both been criticised in the press for having changed nothing from the previous titles in this series. They've also been accused of refusing to be innovative and, in some instances, actually getting worse because of massive bugs.

Cheap FC 24 Coins in turn has a problem with an unbalanced ranking system for multiplayer games that is imbalanced that players are deliberately being relegated to lower positions. However, this issue is, if proven to be true it's not an unintentional bug or decision in design. This is a malicious strategy designed to increase profits and will cost players money and pleasure as well.
