LONDON Bryce Harper put a lot of thought into how he would celebrate hitting home runs during the London Series. With the event being held in the heart of a country famous for its love of football soccer, as its known in the U.S.), there was only one fitting way to celebrate: a soccer-style move.

After launching a home run in the fourth inning during the Phillies 7-2 victory over the Mets in the first game of the 2024 London Series on Saturday, Harper slid on his knees, arms extended, and clapped them together before heading back to the dugout. He enthusiastically shouted, Lets go! as he pulled off the dramatic celebration.

The only thing I was worried about was if Id get caught on the turf with my knees. But luckily, that didnt happen.

Harpers energy seemed to spark his teammates, as the Phillies exploded for a six-run fourth inning, which was capped off by a three-run home run from Whit Merrifield.
